Featured Speaker - Michelle Feeney
In November, in a completely different take on the business world, we host the fabulous Michelle Feeney, known in the PR world as “The Alchemist” for her mind-boggling track record taking some of the world’s biggest beauty brands to stratospheric success. While at Estée Lauder she worked on Tommy Hilfiger perfumes and launched beauty brand MAC into 40 new countries, growing it from a $65m (£51m) brand to $1bn. She then turned Crème de la Mer – a cream originally developed to treat burns – into the £125 per pot, must-have luxury facial moisturiser we all covet. Now her own London-based brand, Floral Street, is transforming the way the perfume industry works with a sustainable and novel new business model—while, like many of us, raising a bi-continental family. Come find out how this remarkably down-to-earth woman from a remarkably ordinary background created such a stellar career, while keeping it all together!
