January General Meeting - Celebrating persistence and engagement

We began the New Year with an amazing General Meeting! It was fun to see old friends and make new ones while we shopped at our lovely Best of Britain vendors.

Members really enjoyed the meeting at Ascot Race Course -- it was a bright and spacious venue.

In keeping with our January theme of change and improvement we had an truly inspirational woman--Roz Savage- as a speaker at our January meeting. Roz is the first (and so far only) woman to row solo across the world’s “Big Three” oceans: Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian.
She holds four Guinness World Records, and was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire for services to fundraising and the environment. She is the embodiment of courage, resilience, and change.

Rox was a dynamic and engaging speaker! It was incredible to see her persistence in the face of huge challenges like broken oars, rusted water distillation devices and inclement weather. She truly made us feel the power of her will and determination.

We can't wait to see you at our Meeting next month !
