Charity Giving report

Thank You picture from Post 19

For the year just gone, we managed to raise a total of

                          £12,763

As most of this money was donated by our fabulous members - YOU - a heartfelt thanks must be given to you all.

This is how we managed to collect such an amazing sum:

  • Best of Britain vendors (who pay £40 per table):                                     £4,200
  • Inner Artist class fee donated by our very generous Activity Leader:      £3,000
  • Quiz Night (you know how much fun that was!!):                                     £763
  • Hats and Handbags Fashion Extravaganza (even more fun!):                £2,540
  • Various other collections: raffles, old £1s, Bake Sales:                            £1,955
  • Donation direct from Club funds:                                                              £305

Remember that the Best of Britain vendors wouldn’t be queuing up to buy a table slot at our General Meetings if you didn’t buy from them.  So in a way, it’s also because of you that we are able to sell these slots and were able to collect £4,200 for our charities!

So here is how the money was donated:

  • Your Sanctuary:                        £2,263
  • Bracknell Parkinsons:               £4,500
  • Clubhouse Project:                   £3,000
  • Support 19:                               £3,000

.. and this is what they said:

Your Sanctuary:

Just to confirm and say thank you for the lovely donation of £763.00 that arrived in our bank account yesterday.  (Note:  £1,500 was given in December 2017.)

I hope that you all enjoyed the quiz night, the photos that we put out on Facebook look like a good time was had by all.

Thank you so much from us all for your continued support. We really do appreciate it.

Kind Regards

Corporate and Community Fundraiser

Bracknell Parkinsons:

Thank you to you and your colleagues for providing such wonderful support to us, not just this year but in previous years as well.

We are very grateful, especially our members who use the services which your monies help to subsidise.

Many thanks again to you all.

Best wishes

Secretary

Clubhouse Project:

I would like to very much thank you, and all involved in the AWBS fundraising, for the extremely generous donation of £3,000.

The Clubhouse Project are overwhelmed by your generosity, and this gift will mean so much to the young adults who rely heavily upon donations such as these, to fulfil their developmental skills.

We will use this money to buy new materials for our up cycling programme, which gives our non-verbal clients the opportunity to participate in inclusive sessions without the need for speech in a relaxed environment. The money will also enable us to buy some new costumes for our creative arts sessions.

Support19:

Many apologies for such a belated thank you for your generous donation.

One of our young adults has done the attached picture.

We are using the donation for some ipads and sensory lights for one of our more complex needs group of young adults.

Many thanks again
